1. Online Legal Consultation Services
1.1. The Platform provides a digital interface that enables users to schedule and participate in online legal consultation sessions with registered Lawyers in Portugal.
1.2. The consultation session fee must be paid in advance through the Platform and will be held until the consultation has taken place. If not, the fees will be returned to you.
1.3. Lawyers assigned to your issue are solely responsible for issuing the corresponding legal invoice for the consultation session and any further services.
1.4. The Platform reserves the right to charge a service fee (the “Fee”) for the use of its services. This Fee will be deducted from the total amount paid by the user before transferring the remaining sum to the Lawyer. The applicable service fee will be displayed and visibly disclosed to the user prior to payment.
1.5. Payments for sessions and further legal advice may be made using one of the following methods:

● MB WAY
● Bank Transfer
2. Lawyer-Client Relationship
2.1. The Platform solely facilitates the connection between users seeking legal advice and independent Lawyers. It is not a party to the Lawyer-client relationship established as a result of any consultation session or any legal services provided as a consequence thereof.
2.2. The Platform does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or outcome of the legal advice provided by the Lawyer. Any disputes, claims, or dissatisfaction arising from the consultation session or any legal services provided must be addressed directly between the user and the Lawyer.
3. Privacy and Data Protection
3.1. The Platform is committed to safeguarding users’ personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
3.2. All personal data collected for the purpose of using the Platform’s services will be processed in compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1. The entire content of the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and layout, is protected by intellectual and industrial property rights.
4.2. Any reproduction, distribution, or unauthorized use—whether total or partial—is strictly prohibited and may constitute a criminal offense.
4.3. The unauthorized use of the website’s domain or any redirection links for abusive purposes may be subject to legal action. The Platform disclaims any liability for unauthorized third-party links, their origin, or their content.
5. Liability and Warranties
5.1. The Platform shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from the use of its services or from any legal consultation sessions conducted via the Platform.
5.2. While the Platform aims to provide continuous and reliable access, it does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues.
5.3. The Platform is operated exclusively for the purpose of connecting users with licensed legal professionals. Legal advice is solely delivered by Lawyers registered with the Portuguese Bar Association.
5.4. It is the responsibility of both the user and the Lawyer to attend the video consultation session at the scheduled time. The Platform is not liable for missed consultation sessions due to technical issues, connectivity problems, or other circumstances beyond its control.
6. Modifications to the Terms and Conditions
6.1. The Platform reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, with reasonable prior notice to users.
6.2. Continued use of the Platform following any such modifications shall constitute acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
7. Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution
7.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal.
7.2. Any disputes arising from or related to the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Lisbon.
7.3. In accordance with Portuguese and European laws, in the event of a contractual dispute related to the service that could not be resolved through a previously submitted complaint to the customer support team, users may resort to the following alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, either free of charge or at reduced cost, as indicated on the website of the Portuguese Consumer Directorate-General [link].
7.4. Eligible consumers may also submit complaints regarding the service through the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform [link], in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013 of 21 May 2013. The Platform does not undertake to use an online dispute resolution platform to resolve consumer disputes.
7.5. Any legal action related to the services may be brought before a competent court in Lisbon. If you reside in the EU and are acting as a consumer, you may also bring proceedings before the competent court of your country of residence.
8. Consultation Cancellation Policy
8.1. Users may cancel a scheduled legal consultation session provided that the cancellation is made at least 2 (two) hours prior to the scheduled time.
8.2. Cancellations made within the specified period will entitle the user to a full refund of the consultation session fee.
8.3. In cases where either the user or the Lawyer fails to attend the scheduled video consultation without prior cancellation in accordance with paragraph 1 above, the following shall apply:
● If the Lawyer fails to attend, the user will receive a full refund of the consultation session fee.
● If the user fails to attend without prior cancellation as specified in paragraph 1 above, no refund will be issued. However, the user may request to reschedule the consultation, subject to the Lawyer’s availability and any applicable fees or conditions.
9. User Obligations
9.1. By using the Platform or subscribing to any services offered, you agree to:
● Provide accurate and truthful personal information;
● Use the services exclusively for lawful and legitimate purposes;
● Be at least 18 (eighteen) years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements;
● Refrain from using the website in a manner that is fraudulent, harmful, or in violation of applicable laws and regulations. Platform reserves the right to exclude any users that have shown fraudulent behaviour from using the Platform and its services.
9.2. It is your sole responsibility to ensure access to appropriate electronic equipment (with camera and audio capabilities and a stable internet connection) for the purposes of participating in the online session. The Platform shall not be held liable for technical deficiencies on the user’s end.
